Our Story

Established in 2019, by the founders of Idaho based impact travel company Vivid Roots, Vivid Roots Collective connects individuals, like-minded organizations, and community leaders that are dedicated to global prosperity and well-being.

The team has been working with rural communities in Ecuador and Guatemala since 2014 where it became increasingly evident that the unique and complex obstacles those communities face would require more versatile and effective collaborators.

Thanks to our amazing supporters and partners, over the last two years we have:

• Impacted 5,100+ people, addressing unique issues in 16 different communities

• Renovated 14 primary and secondary schools

• Renovated 2 Health Centers

• Distributed 56 Water Filtration Systems

• Distributed 64 Feminine Hygiene Kits (with reproductive health education thanks to our partners at Days For Girls SE Boise)

• Constructed 17 Bathrooms

• Constructed 1 Community Water System

• Provided food and essential supply security to 180 households impacted by loss of income associated with COVID-19
