2018 impact projects

Project Overview

Thanks to our supporters and sponsors this was our biggest impact year to date! We worked with multiple communities, partners, and volunteers who helped install new roofs for schools and health clinics, fresh paint for classrooms, water systems and so much more.

Check out the amazing impact we were able to make blow.

ALDEA AGUA ZARCA:

• Installation of:

  • Water system & metal structure for holding tank

  • Rain gutters

  • Fans

• Fresh paint for the school

Casco Urbano PRIMARY SCHOOL:

• Fresh paint for classrooms

Aldea Lomas HEALTH CLINIC:

• New roof installation

Aldea Lomas Abajo PRIMARY SCHOOL:

• New roof installation at local school

• Installation of balconies & doors

• Fresh paint for classrooms

• Games for children - donated by Hopscotch the Globe

• Calligraphy notebooks & reading books - donated by Havey Norman

Aldea Ticanlú, Sector Valle de la EscuelA:

• Roof installation

• Soccer goal posts installed

• New desk for teacher

• Fresh paint for school (classrooms, gates, doors)

• Window replacement / installation

• Seating for students

• Weather guard installation for bathroom stalls

• Installation of water collection and distributor

• School garden planted (eggplant, cilantro, cucumber, chile, moringa, radish)

Aldea La Majada:

• Roof installation for health clinic

• Window replacement / installation

• 4 fans were donated

• New door installed

• Fresh paint for convergence center

• Installation of electric outlets

• New garden was made for community

Aldea Pueblo Nuevo, Sector Abajo:

• Installation of new roof for school

• Chair provided for the teacher

• Installation of new roof for school kitchen

  • Wooden shelves installed in kitchen

• Installation of water tank, storage tank and proper piping - Peter Olson

• Fresh paint for entire school

• Mesh cloth was installed to cover windows to keep bats away

• Repairs to electrical outlets

• Gates and balconies were made & installed for school

• Volleyball posts installed for children- donated by Peter Olson

• Soccer goals made & installed for children

• 6 waste bins donated
