Overview
Thanks to our supporters and partners, a small village has access to water at its school. Another primary school has a new classroom and a water holding tank. With a portion of funds raised for this project, local workers were hired to weld a frame for the water holding tanks, installation, and electrical work for a system of fans.
Before this, many women and children in the village were required to walk over 5 miles round trip to collect water, and often kids would be pulled out of school to help. Now water is closer, and does not require as much time to collect.
