Project Overview

Thanks to our sponsors and partners, we were able to help students and their families have a safer route to and from school, install new roofs and fresh paint for schools, and distributed Eco Filters to 8 communities in need of clean drinking water.

Aldea Escalón Arriba:

  • Installation of protective fence for pre-primary students with mesh, tubes and wire at the top for safety of facilities.

    • Adjacent to the local school is the access road to the community. This road was very steep and dangerous and posed high risk for children to have a fatal accident while traveling to school.

Aldea Agua Zarca Abajo:

  • Installation of a new roof that had been damaged & was soon to collapse.

    • Metal beams & custom-made quality metal sheets were made / installed

  • Fresh paint for the school

Caserío Los Pérez, Aldea Tizubín:

  • Installation of new roof for school

  • Fresh paint for school

  • Bathroom doors repaired

  • Chimney & pipe were installed for proper ventilation

Cabecera Municipal, Aldea Ticanlú, Aldea La Majada, Aldea Tizubín, Aldea Escalón, Aldea Lomas, Aldea Pueblo Nuevo & Aldea Agua Zarca:

  • Delivery of Eco Filters

    • 1 for each Student

    • 2 for each Health Center
